The Shift Supervisor/Operations Manager is responsible for facilitating daily shelter operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires a High School Diploma and three years relevant experience including two years in a supervisory capacity; or satisfactory combination of education and relevant experience. Excellent communication skills and word processing and spreadsheet computer skills required.



PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supervise delivery of program services including intake, bed assignments, case management
    services, distribution of client mail, lockers, meal cards and medication

  2. Ensure optimal customer service is being provided to clients

  3. Ensure recreation activities are occurring

  4. Ensures the facility is adequately staffed at all times

  5. Work with DHS PD to ensure the daily security and safety of the facility

  6. Supervise client care worker, recreational specialists, facility maintenance, cleaning staff and fire safety

  7. Manage community relations and communicate with relevant authorities as needed

  8. Perform related tasks as needed
