We are searching for a SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST in Schenectady Head Start Program, fee for service. position.School calendar with a mandatory six weeks summer school session.Responsibilities
Contributes to the mission of the Center, Clinical Department and assigned programs
Works collaboratively with program directors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all students served and their families.
Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Speech-Language Pathology is required.
NYS Licensure/Registration - Speech-Language Pathologists, NYS Teaching Certificate as a Teacher Speech Language Disabilities, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence required
Professional experience with dysphagia, augmentative alternative communication, working with students with developmental, physical, neurological disorders, and autism spectrum disorders preferred
Less than 1 yr of job related exp required
