Using syndicated data and fact based sales approach, drives sales by developing and executing a sales strategy for the assigned account base within region. Professionally represent Perdue Foods, LLC to all customers within the Region while upholding the companys core values of Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, and Stewardship. Ability to penetrate and successfully influence decision makers at customers in territory. Maintains high level of product knowledge, sales skills, presentation skills, and time management. Proficient in using syndicated, category, and shopper data as a central component of the Sales process. Leads broker network to drive results in assigned customer base. Utilizes the Trade Promotions Management system to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Customer Service to ensure that established goals are met and Customer Service expectations are exceeded.
Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration plus 8 years related experience, preferrably in the CPG industry. Requires strong reading, writing, communication and analytical skills. Must have experience managing brokers. Must be able to travel overnight to customer/vendor locations and/or plant locations.
Management experience in the food or food sales areas. Prior knowledge and experience in sales and/or marketing with the poultry industry preferred.
