(Substantial pay differential for overnight shifts)

Are you a night owl? Do you like to sleep during the day hours and enjoy evening hours to spend with your family? Do you like working in a quiet setting? Ontario ARC is looking for a Direct Support Professional to work overnight hours in one of our beautiful homes located in Ontario County. This position will require the DSP to stay awake throughout the night and responsible for checking on the residents, along with some light housekeeping duties. The DSP will be assisting with morning care such as breakfast preparation, and making sure residents are ready to start their day. If you are considerate then consider it! Qualifications: All Residential Direct Support Professionals must be 18 years of age, will be medication certified and some shifts will require a valid NYS driver license with no moving violations in the previous 12 months to operate agency vehicles.

Paid Training: Successful completion of agency orientation requirements within first three (3) months of hire: Medication Administration, ARC driver certified, CPR and First Aid, Behavioral Support Training, Physical Assistance Techniques training, certification in Positive Approaches, Successful Completion of All Staff Are Teachers (ASAT) training - within one year of hire.

Will work successfully with assigned Peer Coach and will complete all aspects of training within 3 months of class completion of Coaching Plan is required within first three months of hire.
