The Prod Ctrl Intmd. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


+ 2-5 years of relevant experience

+ Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

The Global Spread Products business has presence in North America, Europe, Japan and Asia Pacific. Their primary businesses are Global Credit Markets (GCM), Global Securitized Markets (GSM), Structured Credit and Securitized Trading (SCST) and Municipal Bonds Trading.

The Global Spread Products business are market makers for corporate loans, Municipal and corporate debt and credit default swaps (CDS), Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) and structured products like Tranches and CDOs. Other products covered by these desks for hedging risk may include treasuries, interest rate swaps, equities, and futures.

Currently, Global Spread Product Control area is seeking a Product Control Analyst II/III. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your analytical skills and increase your knowledge in a dynamic and growing product area. The candidate will be placed within a team that one of the core businesses described above and will develop an expertise in a diverse set of financial products as well as an understanding of the risk attributes (greeks) used to measure exposure and manage these products. Candidate will be responsible for the accurate reporting of daily/monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet; and is expected to work closely with the Spread Trading Desks to understand market trend drivers.
