The Maintenance Manager will maintain equipment to increase efficiency, collaborate with other team members to optimize maintenance work flow, be able to respond quickly to production issues, plan and manage ongoing projects, coach and develop the maintenance team, and become a leader and contributor to the safety and success of our plant. Job Responsibilities Take a leadership role with a core belief of Safety as a Value. Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship and strong safety culture with all employees to ensure compliance for applicable health and safety regulations; Maintain equipment to maximize reliability, availability, and continued operational effectiveness; Plan and coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Production Manager, effectively execute planned and scheduled shut downs, daily work, preventive and predictive maintenance, within an established budget; Respond to changing priorities and operating conditions; Drive Reliability process to reduce unscheduled downtime to established business objective; Coordinate sub-contracting within the plant and follow up on work performed; Communicate and work with your team to identify short term and long-term needs related to spare parts inventory; Responsible for the immediate supervision, training, discipline and performance evaluation of all maintenance salary and hourly personnel. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in a technical field with at least 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. OR 10+ years' progressive experience in Maintenance with at least 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding and utilization of preventative and predictive maintenance tools. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and CMMS).
